This is the face measurement drawing of my face. During this project I learned how to make the proportions of a head look more realistic. One way is the placement of the eyes, nose, and mouth. If they are not placed correctly it throws of the proportions of the face and does not look very realistic. The nose will look larger from the side view and the eye will also be drawn differently from the side. To give the eyes a more glossy look you add a smaller circle of light to the eye. I also discovered the shape of the jaw is important in helping to distinguish a person.

This is my first landscape drawing of a picture I took of the sunset in Hawaii.

This is my second landscape drawing. It was drawn with oil pastels. This is a drawing from a picture I took while on the Snow Lake hike. For this project we had to blend colors and represent a real life picture we had taken. The blending of colors is represented in the water as it goes from dark to light and on the mountain with the mix of greens in the trees and in the reflection. We also experimented the use of lines in this project. we had to keep our arm off the table and use smooth motions to create the right image.
